Notes From Melissa:
Notes From Melissa:
Post Hurricane Sandy Day 6 and I currently still have no electricity, cable, internet, heat or hot water at home and they don't anticipate that everyone in our town will be restored before the end of the week. Brrrr. So, I'm writing this up on Friday at work - I have very limited access here for a few minutes a day on weekdays...so please bear with the lack of posts and the lack of visits and comments.
Also for those still waiting for packages from me...I do apologize...they haven't been lost in the mail...I just simply have not been able to get them out yet. I promise you will get them...eventually.
I'm not posting any new books this week as I'm too disorganized at home to figure out what I have! LOL I'll post 2 weeks worth next Sunday (hopefully).
There's still time to enter all the Witchy Giveaways that I ran in October! Click on the button for more details and links to all the posts and contests!

UPDATE: Just got power back on this morning! Yay! For a hot shower!! Added the two books I picked up this week below. Hope all of the other Sandy victims waiting for power get theirs back soon!

Ethan Wate used to think of Gatlin, the small Southern town he had always called home, as a place where nothing ever changed. Then he met mysterious newcomer Lena Duchannes, who revealed a secret world that had been hidden in plain sight all along. A Gatlin that harbored ancient secrets beneath its moss-covered oaks and cracked sidewalks. A Gatlin where a curse has marked Lena's family of powerful Supernaturals for generations. A Gatlin where impossible, magical, life-altering events happen.
Sometimes life-ending.
Together they can face anything Gatlin throws at them, but after suffering a tragic loss, Lena starts to pull away, keeping secrets that test their relationship. And now that Ethan's eyes have been opened to the darker side of Gatlin, there's no going back. Haunted by strange visions only he can see, Ethan is pulled deeper into his town's tangled history and finds himself caught up in the dangerous network of underground passageways endlessly crisscrossing the South, where nothing is as it seems.
That's all for me this week!
